Check the Email Reminder checkbox on a patient’s record

Create a patient appointment
Select Service in the Related To dropdown and use the lookup to select the Service.

Select Contact in the Name dropdown and use the lookup to select the Patient.

Save the appointment and reminders will automatically be sent based on your email reminder settings.
