Certain states require certain products to be charged a sales tax. Jasmine provides the ability to configure a sales tax rate and the products to apply the rate to.

Configuring Sales Tax Rate

Click Setup

In the setup menu, search for "Custom Settings" or go to Build->Develop->Custom Settings

Click on Custom Settings

Click on Manage next to Receipt Config

Click Edit

Edit the Sales Tax Rate

Click Save

Apply Sales Tax to a Product

Go to a product and check the Add Sales Tax checkbox
