Go to -> Setup -> Search “custom settings” -> Click Custom Settings
Click “Manage” Calendar Config
Click Edit
Check “Send Email Reminders” and if you want followup emails, check both “Send Email Reminders” and “Send FollowUp Email”
Click Save
