Go to Setup

Search for Objects or browse to Build->Create->Objects

Click on the Payment object

In the Custom Fields & Relationships section, click on the Payment Method field.

In the Picklist sections, click the New button.

Enter the new picklist value.

Click Save

You should now see the new picklist value
